Another sad cancer novel? Nope. The Weeks List features badass cancer-battling women who, when faced with the fight of their lives, make a pact to take life by the horns and get back at all of the men who ever wronged them. It is the MeToo movement meets Fault in Our Stars with a lighthearted revenge plot.
Katherine King is a single mother dealing with an ex-husband who wants to sell the house they raised their kids in to support his new wife and the baby they’re expecting, a teenage son who’d rather be an artist than a student, and a daughter who’s on a mission to find God. The last thing she needs is the breast cancer diagnosis that will spiral her into a world of chemotherapy, cancer groups, and dating after diagnosis. But it turns out that the women she meets while in treatment are exactly what she needs, and the shenanigans they hatch when they decide to seek revenge on all the men who have ever wronged them might just save her life. That is if they don’t first ruin her chances of falling in love with the perfect man who has come along at the exact wrong time in her life.
